ViewPAC is an innovative product by ICP DAS. It is a PAC which combines display, operation and control in one unit. ViewPAC provides perfect solutions to integrate HMI, data acquisition and control in one PAC. It overthrows traditional image that HMIs and controllers are working separately and solves many communication problems between HMIs and controllers. In the PAC development history of ICP DAS, ViewPAC family sets a milestone.
ViewPAC family provides two CPU types (PXA270,80186), 3 OS solutions (WinCE 5.0, MiniOS7) and several software development toolkits (C, VS .NET, ISaGRAF, InduSoft) for chosen, and all of them are featured same stability and flexibility as ICP DAS’s PAC family. This makes ViewPAC has a good potential to apply to factory automation, building automation, machine automation, manufacturing management, environment monitoring, etc. It overthrows traditional architectures of “HMI + PLC” or “HMI + PAC”, and let users has more and flexible options to configure their automation system.

Rich I/O Expansion Ability
There are 7 kinds of communication interfaces(Ethernet, RS-232/485, USB ports, CAN bus, FRnet, GSM/GPRS, ZigBee) to expand I/O modules and connect external devices.
64-bit Hardware Serial Number
The 64-bit hardware serial number is unique and individual. Every serial number of ViewPAC is different. Users can add a checking mechanism to their AP to prevent software from pirating.
Dual Battery-Backup SRAM (512KB)
To maintain important data while power off, non-volatile memory is the ideal design. ViewPAC is equipped with a 512KB SRAM with two Li-batteries to maintain data while power off. The two Li-batteries can continually supply power to the 512KB SRAM to retain the data for 5 years; and the dual-battery design can avoid data lost while replacing a new battery.
